Mikel Brown and Chris Cenac begin visit with Kentucky Basketball

Mikel Brown Jr. and Chris Cenac are currently on official visits to the University of Kentucky as part of their recruitment process. Both are highly regarded five-star prospects in the 2025 recruiting class, with Brown being a 6-foot-3 point guard and Cenac a 6-foot-10 center.

Brown, ranked as the No. 11 overall recruit, has gained attention for his exceptional playmaking abilities. During the Adidas grassroots circuit, he averaged an impressive 31 points scored or created per game. His shooting skills also stood out, ranking fifth in total jump shots made among players in his age group. Having previously played for Overtime Elite, Brown will finish his high school career at DME Academy in Florida. He has also taken visits to several schools, including Alabama, Ole Miss, and Indiana, and is set to explore more options this fall【27†source】.

Cenac, ranked as the No. 8 overall prospect and considered the top center in his class, has had a remarkable summer, particularly during the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where he was named MVP after averaging 18.6 points and leading in rebounds. His versatile skill set allows him to defend multiple positions and contribute both offensively and defensively. He previously played for Isidore Newman School in New Orleans and will conclude his prep career at Link Academy in Missouri.
