Kentucky commit Stone Saunders sets the Pennsylvania high school touchdown pass record

The Kentucky Wildcats have brought in its fair share of quarterback transfers and recruits over recent years, most recently landing 4-star Cutter Boley out of Lexington Christian this past cycle.

But a hidden gem could be Stone Saunders, a 2025 3-star prospect out of Harrisburg (PA), who broke the passing touchdown record in his home state last Friday night.

Saunders hit teammate Dom Diaz-Ellis with a 38-yarder to etch his name in the record books, his 177th career passing touchdown.

Saunders already had over 1,200 yards and 20 touchdowns entering the game — and has thrown for over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons of high school, including 56 touchdown passes last season as a junior.

Saunders is ranked as the No. 35 quarterback in the country by 247 Sports and the 15th-ranked player in Pennsylvania. Andrew Ivins of 247 Sports scouting says that Saunders “projects as a multi-year starter at the Power Four level that can win with timing and precision in a balanced pro-style attack.”

Between Saunders and Cutter Boley, the young Kentucky Wildcats QB room could be in good hands for the future.
