CONGRATULATIONS: Oklahoma’s Patty Gasso Selected as USA Softball Women’s National Team Head Coach…

 

In a move that is being hailed as a major coup for USA Softball, Oklahoma’s Patty Gasso has been selected as the head coach of the Women’s National Team. Gasso, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest softball coaches of all time, will lead the team into international competition, including the 2024 Olympics.

 

Gasso’s appointment as head coach is a testament to her incredible success and dedication to the sport. With over 30 years of coaching experience, Gasso has built a legacy of excellence at Oklahoma, leading the Sooners to four NCAA national championships, 14 Big 12 regular season titles, and 11 Big 12 Tournament championships.
