NETFLIX ANNOUNCES DOCUMENTARY SERIES ON BRUCE PEARL AND AUBURN TIGERS MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM_

 

Netflix has announced plans to release a documentary series focusing on Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers men’s basketball team, highlighting their recent victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide. The documentary, titled “Tiger Pride,” will give fans an inside look at the team’s journey to success, both on and off the court.

 

“We are thrilled to partner with Netflix to tell the story of our team’s incredible journey,” said Bruce Pearl, Auburn Tigers men’s basketball head coach. “Our players, coaches, and staff have worked tirelessly to build a program that Auburn fans can be proud of, and we’re excited to share that story with the world.”

 

The documentary series will follow the Auburn Tigers men’s basketball team throughout the 2022-2023 season, highlighting their victories, setbacks, and everything in between. The series will also delve into the personal stories of the players and coaches, giving fans a deeper understanding of what drives them to succeed.

 

“We’re excited to bring the story of Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers men’s basketball team to life on Netflix,” said Brandon Riegg, Netflix Vice President of Unscripted Series. “Their dedication, perseverance, and passion for the game are inspiring, and we know that our audience will be captivated by their story.”

 

The documentary series will be produced by Mandalay Sports Media, in association with Netflix. The series will be directed by award-winning filmmaker, Jonathan Hock, who has previously worked on documentaries such as “The Last Dance” and “Of Miracles and Men.”

 

“Tiger Pride” is set to premiere on Netflix in the fall of 2023, with all episodes available to stream at once. The documentary series will be available in over 190 countries worldwide, giving Auburn Tigers fans and college basketball enthusiasts around the globe the opportunity to experience the team’s incredible journey.
