The Class A semifinals will kick off the tournament on Thursday, June 5. Top-seeded Madonna (26-4) will face No. 4 Webster County (13-13) at 10 a.m., followed by No. 2 Gilmer County (20-8) taking on No. 3 East Hardy (12-15) approximately 50 minutes after the first game concludes. This year’s tournament marks the final iteration featuring four teams per class. Beginning in 2026, the WVSSAC plans to expand the tournament to include eight teams in each class, effectively doubling the number of participating teams and games.
